As some you may or may not know they added slopestyle to the 2014 Olympics and I am 1 of 4 lucky girls chosen to be apart of this. I was invited to the first team gather in Toronto for some trampolening. I wasn't able to jump but got to watch some cool bouncing. From there I was picked up by my friends Cole, Max and Andy and  experienced Max's first highway driving all the way to Montreal for IF3. Cole made a pretty chill edit along the way.http://vimeo.com/29130172We arrived to a hotel that looked like the place from the shinning.  And guy's were dressing like girls And there was shirt ripping, drink throwing and of course good old ski movies. -Jess

Water Ramp and Indoor Halfpipe

Last weekend I had the last sessions of the season at the water ramp of Nurmes. Air temperature was about eight degrees Celsius and water temperature was too cold to even measure. In spite of that, I had great two sessions. I hit these ramps quite a bit in the summer, but this time my focus was on quality rather than on quantity. I did all the tricks that I?m working on at the moment and didn?t let the cold bother. Today I went to the indoor halfpipe of Vuokatti, which is a nice small pipe built in the late 1990s, so the contrast between the 22 feet walls of New Zealand was pretty big. It was a typical indoor session: alley-oops, switch threes, handplants and a couple of flairs here and there. Tomorrow I?m going to Vuokatti again, and then I?ll leave for home to get ready for our trip to Sas Fee, Switzerland taking place at some point in October.
