yeah well the people at nashoba are soo ignorant of freestyle skiing and snowboardin that they dont know that most moutains dont allow inverts, so you will probly be allowed

We had a big air like that with Inverts allowed. Except they probably won't allow them anymore because a chick fractured her skull and went into a coma doing a backflip. But then again, the people here are pretty cool and wouldn't let that one accident get in the way.

mike_hunt, i kno that sounds ridculas, but its true, thoose people made a snowbaord park with no jumps, and when we asked why, they said cause they had a no jumps policy. the only reason they could ever get people to come to this ski hill ( i wouldnt call it a resort) is because boston is nearby, and theres no where else within an hour to go to

you missed the point of my post entirly. they are a ski resort with some kind of insurance - and it's most likely the same insurance company that takes care of a lot of other if not all of the resorts in the east - ah fuck it, i dont' want to explain anything to you. you probably understand, but just don't.

bryan gallant nashoba and big air....ahahahahaha!! ahaha HAHAH@ wow. somehow i don't think this is going to happen, how is anyone going to get enough speed to hit something like 60 feet? i don't think this is possible, and yeah their park last year had no jumps they wouldn't build a gap onto the rails it was too dangerous, and now somehow there is going to be a large comp with a 60 footer? this is just hard to believe, but it would be coool, i ride there 3 times a week for school in the winter can you get a regular park please cause i get bored as hell with damn gates, thanks bryan for the effort

well im working very closely with the events staff including jenn anderson. also i am working on trying to get them to build a series of hits and rails for this season. i am goin to try to over see the whole park issue. thanks for your help guys n gals

update # 2:

I've talked with the groomers at nashoba and am really close to sealing a deal for the big air and having a 25-40 ft table... (i knoiw they talked me down but hey least it will be sick.) anyways, im pumped for the season if they keep talking me down im gonna try to get them to put a 1/4 in to make it a big air to 1/4 pipe venue. if they have the pipe dragon.

in other news:

WACHUSETT MTN RESORT has bought a uper pipe dragon... thats right a super pipe dragon with the addition of 4 new rails including a rainbow rail and something simialr to the gatekeeper rail at powders superpark. and the addition of snowguns on each side of the park to produce snow for the jumps landings. with the improvement shown this year in jumps and their pipe i think wachusett will be a very good venue to have a jib spotlight in.

ive worked at nashoba 2 years and know pretty much everything about it, the reason they cant have jumps is an issue with the insurance. jumps and gap rails would cause a 20% increase (over $100,000) this year Sweeny (the one incharge of the jumps) is training a bunch of ppl (soon to be me too) to work on the jumps, so far its just the rails and the main jump, and idk if there will be anything in 'the park'. They did flatten the pipe trail though to put in jumps.

also Nashoba does have a pipe dragon, but they dont know how to use it and suposedly broke it a couple years ago. (they use an excuse that the terrain is to steep) they do have 3 rails up, and have had some suprisingly good big air comps 2 and 3 years ago. all we need to do is hope and mabe put in a word. BTW, one of the real pains in the ass is Betsy (ski patrol bitch) all she does is close shit down. watch out for her bryan!

Oh god, right before christmas break Betsy took some of my friends into the ski patrol office for skiing switch down the bunny slope with no poles. She made up a rule on the spot. She was like, 'uhh, yes, I will have to take you in because you broke massachusetts regulation four-five-six-seven... point eight... six.' She is such a menopausal bitch.
