You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?

theres definetly no park crew, and working there sucks unless you know Bob and Jon and the other guys in charge. Then they let you do cool stuff like keep track of the jump, otherwise you become their bitch and get minimum wage for working the lifts, and don't even get a pass unless you work 20 hours a week. if i were you, id buy a pass and work somewhere else a few hours a week to pay for it, cause theyre only gonna give the cool jobs to the locals who have been there everyday for the last 5 years. Thats just the way they are. Hope that helps.

it's definitely a lot of fun...i don't teach much and usually have a bunch of fun- especially on those days when it snows (2 years ago) and nobody shows up for lessons.
definitely work at sundown....

yeah being a liftie would suck, all my friends who ski like once a year and still think a daffy is an acceptable trick told me to be a liftie so i get to ski heaps but i checked it and you get fuck all, plus its pretty boring.
What is the ultimate job at the snow?

I work lifts at breck - yeah shit can be boring but what other full time jobs mean you only work 4 days a week, get paid, can get super cheap housing close to town, adn you can cut line and get your boys up the hill for free? plus the pass means we can ski vail, a basin, keystone and beaver creek as well. And we def. get time to ride during the day.

sundown lifties do absolutely nothing and half the time they just stick you on the jumps to work them.

sundown holds a job fair in oct or sept i think, but you should talk to wntrwill first, he'll be able to get you hooked up with a good job. or just stop by rundown.

I wouldn't actually advise working at Sundown. It's a cool place to ski and stuff(bit small), but get a job where you actually like to ski.
