Here is something for you
'The FreeRide Series is the vehicle for recognition. This place is the opportunity of a life time for those who want to reach their full potential. Our SuperPipe will be built into the ground this summer and will be 500 ft. We currently have approximately 15 rails with more to come. Next year we will expand the No-Business Terrain Park to the top of the Tamarack Express giving our park roughly 1700 vertical. We are currently talking with sponsors for next season so the prizes will get larger. It's a bummer that we are only giving out medals this year but our budget is fairly skimpy. We are talking with sponsors for the FreeRide Championships so hopefully we can offer more in the way of swag. Next year things will get rolling because we now have a direction and the time to make things happen. We will be sending our judges off to qualifying school this fall. The JibFest March 12th is just that... it is a rail event. On March 19th we are hosting a SuperPipe comp in the day and turning around and holding a JibBest that night under the lights. On April 2nd and 3rd we are hosting the Tamarack FreeRide Series Championships. Saturday the 2nd we will hold the SuperPipe during the day and the JibFest that night under the lights. On Sunday the 3rd we'll host the SlopeStyle. Next Year the FreeRide Series will consist of two JibFests, two SlopeStyle and two SuperPipe events. Then we will have the Championships in April. We are also working on a new Series with Brundage Mt as a partner. We will host all of the above events and Brundage will host the Snowboard racing events. This series will be a USASA qualifying series. I realize that some people are not really interested in doing the JibFest but the more practice you get in competitions the better you become. Next year the Tamarack FreeRide Series will crown a Series combined champion besides the Series Championships champion.
