I dont race anymore. But I was just wondering who else used to race before turning over to newschool? I dont care what you say it helped me alot on how I ski today. If i wasnt one of thoughs mighty might little fools zooming around I would still suck today.

i used to race, i still race skier-cross when i get a chance. skiercross is sick, its the best racing there is

i raced for about 7 years, became a snowboarder and now i race skier x

i used to race for a long time but now i stopped cause it would be 6 hours to the best place to train and it just got too much of a pain having to deal with skiing and club soccer

i used to race for team summit and copper for like 6 years. i quit 3 years ago cuase it was getting too competitive. if i wanted to compete at the level some kids were, i would have to move up to the mountains and ski everday. so i quit and took up newschool. having a racing background will help your skiing ability and jibbing skills tremendously, look at jon olsson, or a lot of other pros.

My parents won't pay for me to ski unless i race. So i have to race and spend less time in the park, but i still ski newschool
