yea the schools that I've looked into that I like a LOT are all out of state but I'm not sure I'll be able to afford tuition for out of state... but still... it had to be THIS season didn't it... the one where I'm still in high school but hate every min of it and the only thing that got me this far through the school year was the thought of snow in the winter but as far as I can tell, I might as well give up on this season, which means that I have nothing to give me hope in school... it HAD to be THIS season...

so, no big deal. just start thinking about the EPIC winter we'll have next season, and then you're covered through ALL of the remaining school this year, plus any summer school you do, plus part of next year, wherever you end up being.
i'm more worried about paying $150 a lift ticket so far, thats not cool. (2 days on my pass)

you know passion,
Theres this thing called the WUE(Western Undergraduate Exchange) program. 12 or thirteen states participate. You want to know which states participate in that. Well only like every state thats good for skiing: Utah, Nevada, California, Montana, Colorado, Oregon, Washington. In the WUE program you pay 150% of tution and no out of state fees. So most places tution is $99a credit, so you pay $150 a credit. Plus theres scholarships, finicail aid, student loans, UPS/Fedex has programs where you work for them and they pay you to go to school. Theres so many ways to go to school out of state, if youd actually look into it. And first and for most you can go to the U/wash(hour away from quam), Western(hour away from Baker), Central Washington(45min from quam and not too far from Mission), Washington State(couple hours from shwitzer, and prolly not to far from mission. So many options.
ok so I've applied to Central, Western and WSU for my in state options but there's other things that make me want to leave Washington. Mainly, there's nothing that's really keeping me here, and there's one major thing that makes me want to leave... my mother. she's absolutely insane and I don't even know if I can last until graduation under this roof. nearly everytime we see each other (which isn't very often cuz I avoid being at home) she makes me cry. I know that she will always be the voice in my head, telling me I'm not good enough, and I can't run from that, but I can get away from that fact being continuously embedded in my mind... and yea.. the only school in state that I've found that offers what I want to study is Central and I'd rather be living in Bend than going to central... just a personal thing...

Oh yeah, dylan, that kid that moved to Mammoth was/is 16. He got a job down there or sleeping on someones floor or the woods/ i don't know. But shit, take a leap and see what happens.
me and kevin are going to try to get up there, but kevin doesn't get home from school until like 1, so hopefully we'll be up there by 2 for 2 hours of skiing.
holler if you see us.

I am very discouraged to the fact that the site adminster didn't look at my profile or ask before doing something like this. I may be new to this website but I have been skiing more then most of you.
PLEASE research or ask before making such assumptions like this one.
thats what i was thinking, I hate hate HATE hiking, but that chair is so god damn slow.
gonna bring up my camera (still) too, so I can at least get SOME pictures this year.
