Why do so many of you guys rok oakley shyt?

I've seen so many people at Stevens rokn the Anorak and it's not even suppossed to be a ski jacket.
I guess my real question is why does nobody else rok Orage or Siver?
Sturtevant's is wondering why they haven't sold any of their siver outerwear yet.

yeah the oakley stuff is a little over the top i'm seeing all these skiers with massive baggy pants who aren't that great but whatever thats their choice. and sturtevents will not sell shit cuz they are expensive and siver isn't waterproof. that and everythime I go there a sales person lies to me. they say we won't carry 4frnt cuz its not a good product oh wait 3 weeks later look who carries 4frnt. some ass hole told me that the pistol was brand new and fully re-designed for this year and he meant the ones in the shop not the new vicious' coming later. so if they want to sell shit tell them to stop lying becasuse most people will believe them but the rest of us know they are full of shit

chris, give the people at sturts a suggestion. give the park skis and clothing some recognition! i walk in today to look at the siver stuff because i havent seen it. then i wanted to look at 4frnts. all the twin tips (save a couple) were all bunched together like lost cows in choas in a shitty spot of the store next to the junior skis, with no price, except on the ground, and not all nicely displayed like the hundreds of all mtn/race skis against the wall. err

^^^how can you say oakley is too expensive when you rock all siver, siver outerwear is expensive and it looks like they just brought it over the border and slapped their logo on it. its like 3000mm. oakley you get quality for what you pay for.

you should suggest to them that they need to get some younger blood in there or maybe put the twins and siver gear over in boarderline? (i know i know)
better yet, they should put all the twins and 'newschool' gear over at ski mart, even though that place is cramped and smells funny, its younger people there, they should really turn that into more of a freeride shop. we've discussed this idea on here before. you should seriously suggest it to them.

i totally think it would be way awesome to have all the 'newschool' stuff at ski mart, cuz yeah, we actually do have a good vibe. the problem is, how much demand, and how much profit can come from moving skis and all the 'newschool' gear to ski mart, or at least using ski mart as the sole place for free ride stuff. sturts will never do it unless they're sure they'll get their money's worth
--and moving it to boarderline isn't so bad of an idea i don't think...i think the freeride people would mesh better with the people at boarderline anyway

they have to do something better, otherwise the shit will sit there (not all of course). i didnt even know they had siver untill chris said they did, and the way its all arranged sucks. the siver is hard to find, the skis are all scattered in the tiny section and messy and cluttered and shit, yea

what if they did open a separate freeride shop? would you guys still hate it because its owned by the same dude? even if a cool guy like me was helping run the place?

thats why i go to seattle ski because Brian is da man and Nick Mike and all the other guys that work there no there shit
They also cater to people like us!!! all their twins are posted on the wall like sturtevants racing/freeride skis
That shop has everything I would want plus they care about there customers
(for example Brian will mount my shit right on the spot or fix stuff for free)

Stuertevans main market still lies with the traditional skiers, so I doubt a freeride place would really take off well. It would be really cool, and I would love to see it, but I'm not sure if the market and the income would be worth it. Seattle Ski still got my buisiness for this years gear.

why dont they just mix the freeride shit with boarderline, that would be way cooler and save on money. I know boarderline would be a tight squeeze, but most people like that shop, and its much closer aligned to what we do. Is Austin still working at Sturtevants or did he move, cause he knows his shit.

How can some of you say Oakley makes quality outerwear? And how can you guys say its expensive? Oakleys outerwear is not terrible, but definetly low grade gear. They sell cheap stuff at cheap prices, then sell low grade highly waterproofed gear at ridiculous expensive prices.
Sivers gear is not the best but its a start. And orage makes very quality gear, too bad a lot of its pretty ugly.

of course we would be down with a seprate freeride shop!!! but they should find some little open shop in like bothell or something instead of bellvue to keep the prices down a little.

do you know why trickwood moved?
Because the rent was to expensive for the type of Business they recieved. That area is a waste of space .

siver outerwear is the shit, but the problem, like said above, is that it isn't WATERPROOF, the design's are sick, and i was going to go with the Ten-Four, but on any rainy day in washington the rain would soak through and leave me miserable.

if its raining your going to get wet anyways. No matter the waterproofing. Thats why rain jackets were made.
