So I thought why not, eh? If you've been to Roundtop and can post the condition of the park (features, etc.) when you get home, I'm sure some of us who didn't go at the same time could benefit. Just please make the format easily readable, like a list or something.

^ Yeah, I thought that had to be Steve in the pic too. Cool shit being on the frontpage.
About Barrett's: I really do love that trail too. I guess it could probably be my favorite since it's only open in the daytime and I'm not there as much in the day, so I don't get to ski it as much. Still though, it's way back from everything else which is cool, and it's a good trail to screw around on with your friends.

i'm guessing your a night club card guy? i got some news on the exhibition park. theres a page called Roundtop Riders Association, and theres a forum link. one of the groomers from roundtop drops info by, heres what he had to say:
Started the park last night. got all the snow pushed into the park and started building but had a scheduling conflict with the race course ( The other half of the slope ) an oversight on my part that did not allow me to finish it to open for today. We are going to set the and tweak out the jumps do my god **** best to have it for tommorow.
No snow making weather until after the new year. The small half pipe will be closing as soon as snowmaking resumes to try and get the walls toa more respectful 10 foot and also while it is closed we are going to try and get some equipment updates on the cutter ( maybe change the lift frame so old cutter can go on my new tractor Big power avalible hoping to make old piece of **** cutter work better and provide better product.
he hasnt said anything about the superpipe yet, but hopefully once it gets cold again, that'll be on the agenda

The table is slightly below where the lift goes low.
I was there this evening and it sucked much. They have lost SO much snow the last couple days. There are huge bare spots on a lot of the trails. It reminded me of what usually happens in March. All park features are as described on their site (reproduced below), but they are pretty much all in bad reapir, mainly the landings are horrible.
Exhibition Park features: 2 Tables, More Skates rail, Flat dow Flat and flat down. More features will be added soon.
Bunker Hill Park Features:Handrail, 2'x4' down rail, A-frame Rail, 20' double barrel flat rail, small flat down flat, and a C Box. Hits are a 30' and a 20' kicker.
Incubator Park features: 10',15', 20' single barre rail, 15' fun box, and a 18' mega round rail.

was up yesterday, 12/2. snow coverage wasnt that bad. hit takeoffs werent bad at all, but the landings were pretty sketchy. the bunker hill hit was rutted out, take off and landing. the pipe was ok, but impossible to ride like a pipe, due to the lack of vert. the big hit after the MS rail in Ex was nice, but takes NO SPEED AT ALL. i hit it at a decent speed, and got real scared, real quick. but its perfect for the first spins of the season.
i was just re learning the rails, by the end of the night i was greasin the little dinky 15 footer in the incubator, and goin switch off the box. if the snow werent so bad, i might have hit the flat rail in bunker hill, but maybe some other time. overall, if you can tolerate wet granular, you'll be fine at RT this week.

^ Yeah I know what you mean on needing low speed on the first table in the Ex park. The first time I hit it I landed about 2/3 of the way down the transition. It was definitely an 'oh shit' kind of moment. Turned out all right though, just kinda skidded out on the landing.
I think I might go tomorrow after school just for the hell of it.

Went this afternoon/evening, 1/4.
Snow report: Bare spots everywhere. Conditions haven't quite gotten slushy yet, so there's still good skiing to be had if you avoid the bare spots. Upper Ramrod was kinda fun to run, plus you could cut over to the Ex park.
Park: Bunker Hill and Incubator are closed and for good reason.
Exhibition park is open with the same stuff as before. The table's landing got worse overall, but if you stay about 3 feet to the right from the very center its fine. The kicker at the bottom is just getting odder, I don't even know how to describe it. The kicker before the rails were being used as small kickers by a bunch of people, so they're skewed to one side now. I imagine it would be pretty hard ot get on the rails.
When will this all end and we can have winter back?
