I go to school at Slippery Rock U, about an hour north of Pittsburgh and need to know if there are any mountains out there, that are half decent. I live about 15 minutes away from Blue Mt. at home, and would like to know if theres any mountains out west that are of that size...
thanks

I don't understand your question. But if youre wondering if there are any mountains near Pitt like there are out west (western US), then hell no

Seven Springs is probably the best resort near Pittsburgh. It will be 2+ hours away from you though.

I've never been to Blue Mt. so I couldn't compare it to anything.

well I would never call any mountain in pa the 'best' and blue doesnt qualify at all. Elk mountain is by far the best mountain. But still its pa skiing and i wouldnt it was THAT good anyway.

I hate to tell you guys this but when there is enough snow... Blue Knob is by far the best terrain in PA...the runs maybe shorter than out west or in VT but the terrain is just as difficult...and if your talking about park skiing then it does not matter how big your hill is
