another good series is His Dark Materials. It's a trilogy of Golden Compass, Subtle Knife, and the Amber Spyglass that'll take up some time... other than that rent a movie or find someone to have a thumb war with...

i agree with sarah, that whole series is soo good....read some Crime and Punishment...that'll take up a little time..but its an amazing book for sure
