Hell yeah, I went to their concert back in April and I really got into them. I absolutely love their sound, damn original. Its really uplifting music too, cool since a lot of bands out there now are into this self pity shit. Actually I just went to their concert in Peoria IL and they rocked, too bad Im missing them in Chicago but Im in a better place now (CO!). Amber is a sweet song, not their best, but really sweet anyway. A lot of ppl dont know their sound completely because the stuff they play on the radio is different than something like 'happy slam dance' or 'rub a dub.'

311 rocks. again, amber isn't their best, but it's a good song. it's 311...their older stuff, just like everyone elses, was a lot less popish. good things.

311 is sick tight! their self titled album is classic, soundsystem was rocking, and From Chaos is by far one of the coolest cd's ever produced, i listen to 2 bands to get pumped up for skiing, and that is Linkin Park and 311 all the way! They are one of the most talented band mixing almost every kind of music, it is incredible how good they are, 311 rocks!

linkin park has nothing on 311...and 311 isn't pop at all...if you listen to omaha sessions (buy it off their site b/c you can't get it anywhere else), they sound almost the same as they use to. they're more of pothead punk...the epitome of flow b/c not only do their instrumentals go in a nice smooth rhythm, the vocals, even if you don't know what they're saying flow w/the instruments which you don't find much of anymore.
