yes, I am now officially building the skis.
It has costed a lot more than I intended. Here is a cost breakdown so far:
(all prices are approximate, its probably more)
carbon fiber - $30
fiberglass, mylar, resin, mixing supplies - $40
aluminum tubing and threaded rods - $30
core wood - $20
press wood - $20
Theres other stuff, can't remember. I've probably spent around $200 or more so far.
Base material was free, edges were free, sidewalls were free.
