For us SoCal skiers, this is huge news... Straight from the Bear Mountain park Nazi's... They will be open this Friday. Last night they recieved 2 feet of snow, which is plenty to put a nice base down up there. If you've been keeping tabs on thier site, they've been extremely busy building countless new rails for you to sack yourself on. Snow Summit is expected to open either friday or saturday. With this being the earliest opening in 35 years don't be surprised if there's either no one there, or packed... We'll see, I'll be there!
