do u mean like kiteboarding but with a waterski(s)? that probly could be done, but on a mountain and shit? i dunno man but id like to try it.

on water but with regular skis(lighter means more air. i think anyway)

it's been done on snow, some people use it to get up the mountain, i saw it in a shitty warren miller flick a long time ago. looks really dumb, but if you don't have a chairlift and you're too fat to hike, i guess it's cool.

it would not work for kiteboarding. on water, not at all. the wind would have to be really fast and i doubt you could get the edge to get nearly as much air as kiteboarders. why just not kiteboard, kiteskiing wont be nearly as fun or cool looking.

kiteskiing is done a lot and growing.
i kitesurf myself which is probably the most amazing sport in the world.

however if i´d try it on snow i think a snowboard would be better than skis, it seems the stance on skis would make it a little awkward.

anyway, i wouldn´t wanna crash a huge kite-jump on snow.

and what do you guys mean not for fun?

you´re into huge airs but a big freakin kite that you can jump 50 feet high and travel 300feet with(hangtime above 10secs) isn´t something for you?

some kiters do lack style though, its said but true, it´s getting better though even if they do come up with some silly tricks(pass the board between yur legs etc).

Some guys here in ottawa have been doing it for 3 years, i've been kitesurfing for about a year and a half but just started doing it on snow this year and it's really fun! you go fast and can jump high so i don't see how anyone would not want to do it for fun.
