here's the basics for tahoe:
if you have money: squaw, will be your best bet, good mtn, good parks, but be prepared to share with LOTS of tourists and people just learning how to ski, it was the home of the 1960 olympics you know, so everyone from every country must visit and ski there at least once apparently
Alpine: all around good mtn, pretty good park, getting better every year, lots of locals and people that know what they're doing, plus they have a $199 young adult pass if you get it before october 1st
northstar: nothing to bragg about unless you want to ski park, and strictly park
homewood: good for powder, and skiing alone, slow chairs, small mtn, but great pow
boreal: boriental, enought said
kirkwood:i don't ski there too much b/c i have squaw and alpine so close, but also a pretty good mtn
heavnely: also don't ski there enough to say much on either side, but they also have a young adult pass for $299
sierra: good parks
thats about all i can think of, let me know if you have any other ?'s. i will be buying my pass at alpine this year, but that's where i grew up skiing, if you have the money, go to squawllywood. good luck when you get here
~welcome to squawllywood~
