Mike Rose

for the people who ski at blue, u may know him as little mike. on thursday, me, him and some friends were dhing at blue and decided to do an easy run. me and another guy went down the first steep pitch into the gulley of the run called highway. after i was done going down, mike had already started his descent down. then i heard a big bang and my budy with me was like

'HOLY SHIT!!!! That was a huge fall!!!'

I looked back and saw Mike skidding on his face for about ten feet then coming to a stop and remaining motionless for a while. i yelled at the guy behind him to see if Mike was alright and the guy said Mike wasnt moving at all.

I biked down t where Mike was lying and saw his face was bleeding pretty badly and he was kinda of not all tehre. i asked if he was alright and he didnt reply. i kept yeelling his name and he didnt say one word. he then fell asleep i thought. i looked at my friend and was like

'ya i think Mike is really hurt' but i didnt know how badly yet.

all of a sudden, Mike seemed to awaske and try to get up. we all told him to stay down but he didnt seem to listen or understand. we had to hold him down and figured it wasnt good for him to move. luckily one of the guys with us had a cellphone and we called the patrol guys.

when teh guy arrived he told us that Mike had a serious concussion and was going ina dn out of conciousness. he put Mike in a neck brace and then a whole shitload of people came to the scene.

they phoned the hospital and the ambulance came. miek started to talk for a while and was asking all the time how he got there and shit. we said he was biking and hes like

'what are u talking about? i dont bike.'

then when they were questioning him he was like

'well if i was biking i can jsut bike down if u want me too'

when i went to look at his bike, his rim was warped to shit and the rim had ripped right off of the frame. it wast good. so im sure if he wanted too he could sue kona for making shit bikes but anyways...

the reason he fell was becasue the trailwas built over and underground stream. there was a ditch sort of thing that cause him to get speed wabble and he flipped over the handle bars and just ate shit really hard.

i dont know what his condition is today but i will post back when i get it.
