shit rail ons at grouse and general crappyness

k, just wanted to come out a say this publicly. i have spent a hell of a lot of time bouncing between grouse and seymour when i am in town. i guess because there are no skiers on the park crew there but the whole thing is shit. it changes *often* which yeah is good but i see no rhyme or reason to it.
the rail on frankly are dangerous and not in a ghetto kind of way either. they are deceptive. the whole park is limiting overall. sure the hits look nice visually but you usually can't get enough speed to really do much. and the shape of the downslope just ins;t right at all. funky.
i over shot the second one last week after 3ing it easily in lines all day and gotta a thumb again. i don't know man maybe it's just me but something about that park....well, it ain't all is made out to be. they need a skier on the park crew or to do some design. they have phat shit rail-wise (not at all as ill as seymour) if they could only get their heads off of those stupid wanna be tables.
rant over but tell me i ain't wrong about something being up with that place. most of it most of the time just feels wrong.

hahaha u wanna know why? because jeff silcock, the park supervisor, rides a snowboard maybe twice a season, hes a lazy fucker and it shows, i have friends on the park crew and they're severely limited because everything that gets done needs to be ok'd by jeff. lots of stuff gets done, but 80% of it is a half-assed job. take the new hip they just built, jeff is crazed on getting a covershot on a mag, its an awsome hit, but the landing is so rediculously flat, its so fucked up infact that jeff himself blew out his knee on it today! thats not to say its a bad park, i'd still rather ride it more than seymour or cypress, but i agree with you, some shit is just so fucked up

that hip is gay. and seymour is way more fun and dope than grouse. gouse gives me a weird vibe to. that one day they had the compition it was good but even then in my runs i had no speed for the 3rd table all day and it screwed me over. it was probly jsut my skis but o well. they should expand there park to the top of the run, put all there rails up there in a line then have all the tables start were the park starts right now.

apprently next season theres gonna be big changes, including widening the park run, hopefully it will flow better, we may even get a pipe too..

yeah i was at grouse last sunday and it seemed everyone was barely making the jumps.. i only hit the hip, and the angle for the c box was prety weird.

haha the only thing i like right now are the twin hips, i do them end to end as tables, thats about all the park has going for it right now. and graham if i dont get accepted to school im moving up next year forsure

all i've got to say is that those side by side hips were fucking sick. i liked the grouse set up alot, you could hit a rail or two before bombing in and launching the hip/table and if you carry your speed nice you can still hit the s box. i thought the set up was sick and me and charley only wish we would have had more time to hit that shit. all the stuff after the s box was garbage though.
