College/Uni Night at Edelweiss

This coming Friday night (March 19) Edelweiss with be hosting a college/university night. Lifts run till 1am, Bar open till 3. So far there are plans for groups from UofO Carleton and 2 quebec universities. Rumour so far is an expected 800 people. Skipatrol with be keeping things UNsafe with our BBQ and Beers at the top of the hill. I'll post lift prices when I find out...all this is weather permitting. Everyone come out for one final night!!

i dont know about the jumps there mad icy and i dont think theres enough snow left to plow them and make a real table but the rais will be mint

OK so heres the info I could get tonight from the organisers. The 'night' skiing runs from 8pm till 1am. Tickets are $11 in advance (I have a stack of these tickets so let me know if your interested) and $19 at the hill that night. There are several small events and stuff planned and the night (with prizes) is hosted by Fokus Board Shop and Coors Light. You can contact the organizers at 863-1465 or 661-2466 for more info. I also have several flyers if anyone feels like tossing one up anywhere. So yeah....thats all I've got for now....remeber to message me if you want the advance $11 tickets

yeah the night really went off...the turnout was exactly what they hoped for. An entire hill and bar full of teenagers and uni students makes for a great atmosphere and a ton of fun. Beer sales last night rival the entire last months! Seeing the popularity of a night like that...there are already talks of doing that a few times next year. Thanks to everyone who came out...great way to end the season!

definately get more events like it organized for next year. i think we could even do a bus from carleton so everyone can go to the bar after skiing!
