well our trip has now been cancelled....goddamnit. I do however have a free nights stay and lift ticket to Shanty Creek. ANyone been there latley?

Mt. Bohemia is the shit, that is, if your looking for backcountry skiing in the midwest. I went up a couple weeks ago and it got dumped on the week before, which meant tons of untracked lines and drops. I don't think i've ever had more fun in one day of riding. But bring shitty skiis that you dont mind gettin a little banged up, cause it will happen, i guarentee it.

yes there park was bad but they had some really fun skiing in the trees when I was there. We had some powder though. About a 10 foot drop too.
