Fernie and Castle when they get new snow or else it rains an dis icy as shit. Nakiska has a good park and steep fucken groomers for pissin around. Fortress for fun. the Fort has good snow most of the time, its always empty and they food cheap. Fun to get some bros and go up and stay in the lodge for a night. Sunshine is sick when they get snow and has really good places to build jumps. Louise has an awesome park and good rails. The mountain is big and its a fucken fun place to ride. It takes time to get to know it but when you find your spots, it is easily the place to be. I can find pow there whenever I go. Ya just gotta know where to look, its not hard. also good for building jumps and it has fun cliffs. Now for a bit longer of a drive. Golden has great terrain and when it snows, is the closest to heliskiing you'll get in your entire life without paying for the chopper. It is fucken amazing. Easily worht the trip to go, its only 2 and a half hours. highways sketchy though to watch it. Now I seriosuly recommend that you take a trip into the BC interior. Go to Nelson man, that place is the shit. Plus as a bonus buy a fuck load of weed take it home and sell it to campus kids. Youll pay for your trip easy. Anyways When Nelson gets snow, its gets snow. Bring big fat skis and possibly a snorkel, its deep and its fun. Its all glades and theres some big cliffs tucked away in em so what out. But yeah if your at U of C, and have weekenights to spare, COP is a good place to gets some skills down. Dont ride on the weekends though, the lpace is packed with groms and dickheads that will snake you whenever possible. And the lift lines are ridiculous for such a small place. For the amount that COp rakes it they should ahve super dooper high speed quads and some more features. But they are real concerned with racing so fuck em.
