Alright folks! Here we go!
I will be heading up to the mountian tomorrow (Fri) to set the first rails. Yes, I said railz! Most likely two rails will be set - a flat and a flat to down. A pic-nic table may find it's way on the hill and, depending on what I find for cover after the 'liquid snow' that was received the last two days, I'll build a jump element if possible.
That will be the set for the vacation, with the possible addition of a buried snowmaking pipe section for beginning grinders. After that, look for 2 more rails and a box to join the inventory as they get finished.
The main park will depend on snowmaking schedule and weather but the goal is to have it well on the way in a few weeks. Look for one more main jump element to be added to the park this year plus a few more secondary hits. Include the new rail inventory into the flow and the park will extend to the base of the Eagle Cliff Lift this year.
The Pipe will be moved to the other side of the island than it has been on for the last few years, to eliminate the nasty cross-over and intrusion of the General Public. I will be taking over the cutting this year - every Friday night and midweek as needed. Also, TUNES will be heard in the pipe this year!!!
We are working on some other things as well, I'll bring you up to date on those as they come together.
