There is going to be a showing of Warren Miller's 'Journey' and a special appearance by Glen Plake in Buffalo, NY on January 11th for his Freeskier Magazine Downhome Tour. Glen Plake will have a discussion before the screening and introduce the movie. After the movie Plake will be skiing at a local mountain and later that night there will be a party for him and Freeskier Magazine downtown. You can read about the tour at www.freeskier.com, if anyone is in the local area this is a great chance to ski with one of the greats of our time.

yeah tickets cost only 10 bucks. They will be sold at Dipson theater downtown and probably ski market. I will have more info soon. Tell everyone in the area about it, we need as many people to come as possible.

Tickets are being sold at Market Arcade Theatre downtown, Spot Coffee, Urban Clothing, Campus Wheel Works, and you can get them direct from the Bufalo Ski Club. I still feel bad that Plake has to actually ski at Tamarack. What a joke that is going to be.

Yeah just went to the KB website, at least he will be skiing there on Mon for a lil. Talked to some heads at HV and I guess he skis HV a few times a year. Plake has a few friends in Ellicottville.

Went to the showing and skied with Plake. He is def cool as shit and can bust out anything. He was grinding rails and hitting little kickers it was hilarious. We sat and talked to him for awhile. He has more stories than anyone I have ever met. Signed autos for mad heads too. Def a mad chill skier. More pros should be as cool as him.
