Replying to how is ellicottville?

i have a chance to move to western new york and was wondering what the town is like to actually live in. i have been to HV but never spent time in the town. besides the fact that it is down the road from HV, what are some good things about it. What sucks about ellicottvile? what should i avoid. any thoughts from some locals would be super appreciated. i will be working outside of buffalo and want to live somewhere near HV. suggestions? not afraid to drive
