KB will not be open this weekend, however I believe they will be opening soon. They are holding on-snow instructor training on saturday. Which shows lots of promise.

Is HV actually going to put their rails in the park, or leave them at the bottom of Mardi gras? They could actually build a decent park on Moonshadow if they put the rails in there and set up a park with some good flow. Of course, they'd have to add a lot more rails than the junk they already have. Is the pipe going to be any good this year?

highly doubt there will be anything to hit this week and for a little whhile. They moved the pipe location and put a lot of work into it so maybe they will take better care of it this season

Where is the pipe gonna be this year? I'm living in NH now, but I skied HV for 4 years, and I'll be coming back on some weekends, I just hope it's worth it.

I think I'm gonna head up to hv saturday. Someone mentioned there might be a reduced lift ticket price since not everything is open. Is this true? I get half off for my patroler status anyways, but it might be nice for my friends.

the pipe is farther down foxfire now. They cleared a big area of trees in between cindy's and foxfire. Its at the bottom end of where the trees used to be. were you on the freestyle team before? hopefully they get it together this season

No, I wasn't on the team. I know the coach though. I skiied w/a ski instructor named Pat. We both rode 1080's. Were you there a lot?

I went on Saturday, very disappointed in the type of skiers that were out. Seemed as if noone knew how to actually ski.

lets see its Dec 30th. Can anyone give a current snow report on HV? My guess is that it is pretty shit even with the 1 or 2 inches we are getting right now.

um i skied HV today-- it was alright; it was snowing alot and they were making snow like crazy. There were quite a few bare spots but the runs were decent

except for a few runs that are a bit ragged most everything with snowmaking (most of the hill) is open and not bad. the base is super solid underneath the couple inches of new snow so its a bit icy in spots. rails are good, the half pipe is a joke right now but there's a little hip somebody built thats kinda fun.

holimont was cool over the weekend since it was warm and stuff (they had a flat-down and a up flat down rail) but after the rain it froze up..
At the side of the terrain park were some more new rails including a 20 foot flat to 20 foot down to 20 foot flat which looked realllly nice..no jumps though
