Going to ALTA DEC 12th to 22nd.. HELP!

Hey I'm going out to Alta/snowbird December 12th through the 22nd and was hoping somebody would be able to show me some sick backcountry stuff. Every time I go out west the snow has been shitty and according to Alta/ snowbrids websites there getting a Crap ton of snow, and I was just wanted to make sure I find the some sweet spots with cliffs and plenty of snow. hey bro, you won't need to go in the backcountry. both mountains are sick. at the bird ski anything off the ciruqe traverse. go toward the end of it. mineral is ok but gets tracked way quick. if it is a powder day, try and get the opening to road to provo. watch to see patroll bombing. once they are toward the right of the area( you will know what I am talking about when you see it from little cloud chair) they will open it withing the hour. baldy is good too, but I can't give you any exact details. can't give out too much local knowhow.
for alta do some hiking.

yep do the high traverse at alta or hike to devils castle, glory hole is usually pretty nice to, along with greeley bowl. If you want to do some tree skiign go to wild cat or the supreme lift and head towards the catherines area

at alta it'a all about devils castle and catherines, there are also other spots, but after you hit those you'll find all the rest. especially if your there for 10 days.
a conversation between two skiers:
skier 1 ' have you seen those new skis with the tips in the front and back yet'
skier 2 'no but I heard about those things'
Skier 1 ' yeah I don't see why they would want tips in the back...maybe they are try'n to copy those stupid snowboarders or something like that'
skier 2 'Yeah seems like kind of a stupid idea.'
