I think this season is going to be off the heezy fo sheezy, it's snowed more in the last two weeks than it did last year in the months before christmas.

Hey Trick720, if you want a good view of the next 10 day precip., check the MRF 10 day loop. If you don't know how to find it, i can give you a link.
That is usually the best medium range forecast for the west coast.

looks like it could be a decent storm, I can see it bein super heavy snow as its not going to be that cold, so it'll atleast add to the good base. Strong winds today, blowin the storm right in:)

That link for the 10 day loop is:
http://asp1.sbs.ohio-state.edu/
If you click the 'models' tab on the left hand side and then 'MRF' and then 'loop', it will load. It is updated once a day.
What you will see is the projected mositure/pressure pattern for the next 10 days and you will see the dates at the bottom of each slide as the loop runs.
Just a heads up weather.com is not a real reliable source for forecasting out past 72 hours. Also, they still can not conceive the concept of a snow system dumping more then a foot, which happens in the Sierras.
