This post is for snow warnings, weather forecasts, and anything else weather related. Let me start it out with this forecast and the Showdown Webcam:

... WINTER WEATHER WILL DEVELOP OVER ALL OF NORTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST MONTANA TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

A MAJOR CHANGE IN THE WEATHER WILL OCCUR TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY. VERY WINDY CONDITIONS MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT WILL USHER IN A SIGNIFICANT CANADIAN COLD FRONT ON TUESDAY... WITH RAIN LIKELY ACROSS ALL OF NORTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST MONTANA. BY LATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON... THE RAIN WILL CHANGE TO SNOW ALONG THE CANADIAN BORDER. COLD AIR WILL SURGE SOUTH THROUGH NORTH CENTRAL MONTANA TUESDAY NIGHT AND THROUGH SOUTHWEST MONTANA ON WEDNESDAY. BY LATE TUESDAY NIGHT... THE RAIN WILL CHANGE OVER TO SNOW ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA.

LOW TEMPERATURES WILL DROP INTO THE TEENS WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS THURSDAY NIGHT. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE 20S AND 30S ON WEDNESDAY AND IN THE LOW TO MID 20S THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.

as of now. at about 3:28 pm, great falls has about and inch and a half of fresh fluffy snow. and it is still comin down hard. supposed to snow rest of week.

NORTH TO NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO BE STRONG... 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH. WINDS WILL BE STRONGEST IN FERGUS AND JUDITH BASIN COUNTIES... GUSTING TO 60 MPH THIS EVENING. SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO FALL... AND COMBINED WITH THE WIND WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES BELOW A MILE AT TIMES THIS EVENING. Showdown has a lot of snow, enough to open, this run is big 7 the one they have the races on. runs like speculation and muley have probably 3 times as much

Showdown has about 12 inches of packed snow and probably 30 (guess) on the north side (muley and spec) hopefully ill make it up their this weekend to build some booters and hopefully SHowdown will live up to their word and start piling snow for jumps before the season begins

Showdown has gotten 6 inches which makes 11 for the past 2 days, Glory Hole slid last night which is a good sign since it usualy only slides once or twice a season
