boatswain is pronounced 'bo-sun'

a warrent officer or petty officer in charge of a ship's deck crew, rigging, cables, and anchors.

hence, not a skier.

Grinding planetary rings would be incredibly difficult, not the least for which because there is no surface per se to slide on, and the collisions of the pieces of asteroid, dust and ice in the ring would make an environment that would not be pleasant. ^^^ haha, no kidding. is gig harbor on the penninsula? i don't remember. i always get it confused with roche harbor, fridar harbor, and kent.

wait....isn't it on the coast, like ocean shores-ish? maybe they ski the surf.
