i guess people think that the simpsons have been around so long it doesn't need recognition. why care about the millions of retarded award shows anyways? (except the BET awards of course, those rule everyone's life) one thing friends does have is chicks. or at least jennifer aniston. those cartoon characters just don't do it for me. but the simpsons rule their world anyways, even without the advantage of boobs.

I also made the mistake of watching some of the teen choice awards and me now much unsmarter and ashamed to call myself a teen, the only reason I dont craw into a hole and call myself a bad girl is because of the abundance of fine tits and tight pants. Its not just the 'hardcore' teens either when your walking around the mall or some place where there is a majority of teens take a look around..... they are a messed up bunch. I recently started exploring mIRCs chat rooms and was shocked (well not really) when I visited one of the teen ones, those kids have problems.

The thing is, is that pop culture has always sucked... we always hear how cool the 60s and 70s were, and it's because there were a lot more people who were rebels. Nowadays everyone is a 'rebel', and now the rebels are 'pop culture.'

But have no fear- there are more disillusioned and pissed off kids like us out there than there are pop zombies.

something may be wrong with pop culture, but considering half the united states is overweight and the majority of people are dumbasses (anyone who has a job that constantly deals with the public knows this) it's really not all that surprising. not that i have anything about fat people, as long as they're not sitting next to me and oozing into my seat.

One thing that makes me sick is a bunch of kids who KNOW (or think they know) everything about pop culture and our society and won't do anything about it but complain on a ski message board. I am not saying it's bad to voice your opinion, but any jack-off, including all the people that you speak against, have an opinion about something. It is the person who can pack it together, put something behind it, and make something of it that make change.
