CeleryWhy on earth would you go there
eheathIf you're going to Ohio state, you are not a ski bum, sorry dude.
Frenchmayo1287Education is way more important than skiing right now, I’m still going to get to ski a bunch when im on break and hopefully while at osu. I went more than 45 days last year. Im used to terrible skiing by now as almost all those days were at mountain creek. Although they have a really good park which makes up for it

abjectwoeThose are not ski bum numbers.
joogHey guys, ski bum from the bay area with a 9-5 who skis on weekends here...
nCrowGraduated from OSU in 2018. As others have said, ski team is where it’s at, not ski club. You don’t actually have to do the races or comps to be a part of it. Ski team trip out to Jackson honestly changed my life and is where I met a ton of close friends and most of us moved to Denver and are still skiing together out in Colorado now. Will reiterate that mad river is garbage now. Definitely worth it to drive a bit extra to snow trails which has probably the best park in Ohio now plus a new rope tow in the park.
Frenchmayo1287Gotchu, that’s what I’ll do then, are there any requirements to join? I dont ski race or do moguls like that
BeefgyroOmg something I can speak on. I car camped at or around mad river during the first semester back at school after Covid. I had a great time. I was there almost exclusively midweek so lift lines were non existent. Used to stock up at the bellfontaine Walmart. Kinda a cool little area. If I still lived around there I’d probably still do it. Definitely join your ski club tho I met some of my best friends in school through mine. Enjoy!
jggnever would have thought in my life I would have heard bellfontaine described as a cool area
