ARV 88 mounting point

I just bought the Armada ARV 88 for my park skis to use next year for hard pack/icy days. I will only use them for park. I measured and the freestyle line is -2.5cm but that’s too far back. Do you think -1cm would be good or true center for a park only ski? I felt like -1 could be good because when I’m in a ski position with knees bent then my weight would be pretty even. Or should I still mount center?

I have a pair of these this season for the same hard and icy days but for groomer cruising too, and went with Freestyle mount.

Nice.

Yea my current park ski is the ARV 94 which has been great for all conditions especially for spring slushy jumps. Excited to try out the 88 next season and see how it does on hard pack park days.

Yeah split the difference and go -1 or -1.5. Will basically feel like center mount, true center would start to fight the sidecut just a little, a 1cm difference is basically unnoticeable. Moving 2cm or more you can feel the change a little bit.

This but it really doesn't matter, you're definitely splitting hairs at this point. In a blind ski test you couldn't tell the difference between center and 1.5 or 2 back.

for whatever it's worth the first line on arv 94, is -2.5... it feels perfect to me, great balance
