.FRY.I’m tired of condensation, rain, snow, sleet, hail, hurricanes, tsunamis, asteroids, eheath’s 4.5 Richter scale farts, tides, fog, heatwaves, and all other weather conditions that anything that spends its entire life outside is already exposed to anyways.
Not sure how rubbing a little bit of snow on a rail makes any meaningful difference to anything. Maybe I’m wrong but I’m like 90% sure.
Granby_killdozerYou are correct. Water causes steel to rust. Don’t rub snow on rails if they’re dry. Disagree about the Pam though. Any oil should help keep things slick
NibbletinkerIt makes a difference when it's piping hot outside the rub snow on rail it rusts in 1 minute, they do like a few hits on it leave rail is covered in water rusts like crazy.

Nah I change my mind actually just pour all sorts of oil all over the rails by the nice creek in a national forest it's all good, who cares right.

NibbletinkerPAM is garbage too, freezes into a thick sticky substance. its good for a day but next day it's fucked.
