Binding switch possible?

G-rannyI bought Vishnu wet + a few months ago, mounted with griffon 13s dead center, for a 26.5 boot,

1) can I remount dead center with pivots (same boot size)

2) if i can’t remount could I flip them and mount the pivot toes facing the tail and make it work out?

If you mount them backwards and ski forwards are you skiing switch? Much to consider...

boot size isnt the relevant factor. its the boot sole length that matters. really you wanna ensure the old holes are plugged and the new holes are far enough from the old holes that you dont rip out of the remount. i believe wets are true symmetrical including the rocker profile so flipping the ski around wouldn’t be a big deal but you should def fact check that first lol. my guess is you’ll probably have so go 2-3 back from center but depends on how the bolt pattern lines up

I just had this issue, most likely you’ll be alright, since it is one mount.

you can print out templates, or if you don’t have an idea of what you are doing (me) a shop should have some jigs, and let you know what will work.

For me, I had some attacks, but 2 prev mounts on a ski meant I would have to go like -5 from where I wanted to be at with them. For some reason STH’s hole pattern matched up much better and got closer than the other bindings they had templates for.

So If you haven’t bought bindings, maybe be open to sth, attacks, or jesters (could even share hole patterns)

I am about 90% sure they are symmetrical, so you can mount backwards too.
