New skis

bennnnnnnI currently ride 24 Tw pros but they are getting really beat up and im looking for a new pair. I ski east coast and im a beginner in park I like the way the tw’s are light and flexible so im looking for something like that i was looking at armada arv 94 or vishnu wets can someone give recommendations?

if u want durability get arv94, 88 if u want it to be lighter, faction prodigy 1 is pretty good, and volkl revolts are basiclly slightly worse factions with better durability and its stiffer. wets r super flexy and if u want it to be a bit stiffer get wets plus.

Vishnus gonna be hella durable tho too probably moreso than the armada and absolutely way more durable than the Factions, I never seen a Vishnu delaminate in the first season unless you’re really wacking them around. As long as you take care of the edges like manufacturer says they gonna last and be wayyy more fun to ride than ARV’s.

Yeee lit, Vishnu got a lot of misconceptions about durability cuz they are lightweight and aren’t $799, but truthfully they hold up so well to park abuse, just make sure u detune real well underfoot as that preserves the edges quite a bit.

Pro move is going for the plus model, cuz once those break in they stay roughly the same flex as the regulars would be when new. Also nice to have a little more stability if you’re into jumps or going fast

I wouldn’t get wets if I was you learning tricks on wets it just not really good for beginners keys would probably be good for you but the rocker on wets it gonna make it very difficult to learn jump tricks my friend did it and it just wasn’t good for his progression however if you do learn jumps on wets your gonna definitely learn to land properly because it’s so easy to wash out with the flex and rocker if your worried about durability I would recommend the arv 94 it’s definitely a step up in quality from the 88 and you get a touch more flex especially in the nose

I Completely disagree with the surface slander for durability now that they are made in the dps factory the quality is actually better than vishnus imo because the edges will hold up without being detuned, after a fairly heavy season and a half on my givers and many many disasters and stuff that would explode non detuned Vishnu edge on the sharp givers there no damage aside from the obvious wear and tear of hitting rails if you ski in the east coast and plan on only having one pair of skis I would say go for the key over the wet they are gonna be significantly better for progression and are gonna be exactly what your looking for if you dead set on getting vishnus, light, flexy(not wet flesh but i think you would find the rocker combined with the flex too much), similar width, and the bird and picture/hunter/native top sheets are both phenomenal when they come out you’ll see, i would still recommend the surfaces just cause you can buy them today for 420 and will perform just as good.

takes me back to kindergarten. while practicing penmanship writing out our names, i just would add more Ns until the line was full. My teachers didn't love it so my sister suggested keeping just 2 so i could have fun without getting in trouble. i'm guessing teachers are more lenient these days, so 7 Ns is acceptable
