FruityBootsBecause those hooligans with the baggy pants cut people off and are just all around disrespectful to the public in general. Skiing is a family activity, and these thugs make the mountain dangerous when they fly around uncontrollably with their pants around their knees making offensive gang signs and listening to that awful rap music.
For example, I was at Killington for preseason skiing this year, and I brought my girlfriend. While in the lift line, a kid with parachute pants turns around, points at my goggles, and says "Yo, what goggles are those?"
My goggles weren't anything special, just some old Scotts with orange tinted lenses.
So I'm like, "They're Scotts."
"Oh, they're gay as fuck," he says, then turns around.
My girlfriend then begins studying my goggles for a few seconds before saying, "Yeah, they are really fucking gay."
She then taps parachute pants douche on the shoulder and asks, "Can I ride up with you."
Long story short, I left the mountain alone that day.
andrewtprmy experience is that most people don't, but those who do usually fit one of two molds:
1. (most common) they're afraid of skiers who they perceive as reckless/unpredictable (regardless if you actually are or not), e.g. people airing into groomers, skiing switch near people, etc., typically these people are inexperienced and don't understand what being in control looks like, so they feel uneasy around park skiers. usually they grow out of this as they get better and realize that other people are in fact, probably not going to hit them
2. they're skatepark karens and it has nothing to do with skiing/boarding, they just have a stick up their ass for 0. you can't really do anything to change their mind
bennnnnnni always just see weird looks or someone saying somthing
armchair_skierYou guys look like total fruitcakes with your balloon pant and petite ultra tight tech jacket
And they know that you can’t kfed
Frenchmayo1287Nothing wrong with them tbh but the thing that pisses me off is when kids who can barely hit a rail wear parachute pants, just makes it look goofy asf. It’s not about the drip it’s about skill. A dripped out skier with no skill looks dumb asf, but that just my opinion.
VT_scratchpost your fit we will be the judges
