They’re trying to expand the range for everyone fitment wise. A lot of people found the corsa too small for a 94-96. While not small enough for a 92-93.
Différent cabrio LV buckel, i highly doubt dalbello team rider is riding this dog shit boot, that's why its a différent version for the team

The cabrio boots are pretty shit compared to the kryptons, but I think I've seen guys like Hunter Hess in the retail boots?
Totally possible it was just the same color scheme though. I wasn't paying close enough attention to the buckles and stuff. Could probably tell from looking at IG.

Perhaps another ski industry secret that will never be uncovered 😅
But I also hope it's an updated version because everyone who tried the Krypton is really disappointed with this new boot. Why change a boot that work by this ? Incomprehensible by Dalbello's part...
Luckily now there's the Cortex 😁
Kbob94Yes so far that’s how it’d be. Like most all those skis are in the zero collection so if we’re looking at it from that standpoint it makes sense. Zero collection which they don’t really count towards the regular lineups because they are unique skis and not available to everyone easily, antimatter collection(it’ll replace then declivity lineup) arv lineup and then the signature series. Like truly of all the brands out there they have one of the most diverse and unique sku list very specific and tailored towards what all their athletes and consumers want

Compared to the Krypton:
-They call it a "LV" but it's actually a medium volume to accommodate the mass
-Poor quality plastic
-No more inverted buckle
-New position of the instep buckle is horrible

I completely agree. but with new intuition liner, and spine blocco thing, i've gotten it to ski better than KR2. i think the flex of the tongue and angle it sits on, is way better than KR2, best improvement of it. but ya, it is large fitting for LV and the plastic does blow.
Thanks for the tag! I think the consensus is that they are the 2027 revolt 121s with the 2026 revolt 114 topsheet. Or maybe some powder touring revolt ski and the mini fishtail is a skin clip.
abjectwoePer Kye Peterson in the Natural Selection broadcast that pointy nose Volkl is a 122.
"Slow taper, long rocker profile."
Idk if its going to be a 121 replacement or maybe a new pro ski?
You can kinda see the rocker profile of the new ski (right) compared to the current 121 (I believe) on the left. Looks slightly like a bit less rise on the tip and more gradual rocker but hard to tell for sure

They look different enough for Volkl to keep both. I wasn't such a big fan of the 121, this 122 looks like it's more my style.
PartyBullshiitTouring model is called the espresso. There is also a new corsa coming that’s designed around 96 last boots
“New Corsa” is going to be updated World Cup Sidewinder for 94-96 last boots. Releasing season after next from what I heard. Very cool to see what Zipfit is doing
Also the NST streaming release today was awesome! Excited to see future events
no, the 114 is banger, so is the 101 apparently, but I skied the 121 and felt it was like my Armada Magic J, but somehow not as stiff or big or fun. I think I just got used to skiing a Revolt 114 and even though the 121 is more manueverable in powder, I prefer the stiffness and stability I get out of the 114 now.
If you don’t want the 121 I’ll pick it up from your house lol.

Edit: nah I’m kidding.

Imo it would be better that the normal 106 is already the hard one.( its already to hard for me haha the old gen 1 ones where Perfect)
and they made a light soft jibby 106 for the park. I think a lot of the armada team will love that too.
so instead of a hard ti 106 they build a nice and buttery zero 106 with the light caruba core but with thick 2.2 edges
scratchskier321good eye.
im not very excited for the 106ti anyways, the normal 106 is already pretty stiff.

The metal is not really going to have an effect the stiffness of a ski. Instead, the type of core/ wood used for the core, along with the thinness of the core and overall thickness of the ski will determine how stiff a ski is. That said, metal certainly has a non-zero affect on the stiffness of a ski, but far less than people usually thing.
Metal has a damping effect, which absorbs vibrations traveling through the ski and will help the ski avoid deflection in variable conditions. It also will detract energy or "pop" from a ski, which can make for a more predictable nature.

yes, i agree. this is how my declivity feels. I just think 106 already skis pretty strong & damp as is.

Really? Damn, that was in my short list for next season, but I really want a ski with some energy… have you skied the ARV 100? Haven’t been on a fun ski since the ~2020 Faction CT3.0. Looking for something like that or the Salomon Rocker2 100…
Bought the Fischer Nightstick 104 hoping the metal underfoot wouldn’t be a drawback… was meh…

yes i really like arv 100. 106 is stiffer, noticeable in the tail.
i like prod 3 way more than arv 106.
