nhsBetter pic of 121 replacement on left vs current model on right
I hope it's stiff, When I got on the Revolt 121, I just found it lacking compared to my Revolt 114, and I realized it was because I've gotten very used to riding a stiffer ski now
Non_State_ActorThe DINs don't go up to 30 like they do with the race bindings thats for sure.
Yeah. Honest question-- why is it that marker's race bindings go up to 30, while look's only go up to 18? At least that's what I see on each of their websites

Because Looks will actually keep you in at 18 whereas Marker is Marker...
I saw a bunch of new park skis and/or topsheets in Tanner Blakely's vlog from RedBull Cascade. Gets hard to keep track of what is coming out Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 though.

For sure.
121 was too soft and had too much taper. If it was stiffer the taper would have been fine, if there was less taper the flex would have been fine.
Could be argued that I should have been on the 191, but I'm only 5'9" so I went with the 184.
Looks like a blackops 98, not sure why it’s all white. If they were testing a new construction could hide better under current graphic. (Oscar got a steezy fit I fw it)
i feel like all white skis dont give you the visual feedback you would want for testing since its white on white (just like crime in the suburbs). sure, the vast majority of it will be feel but wouldnt clear like the jskis protos or all black better? clear seems best to me as you could see if there was major core issues which is pretty unlikely but also better see the skis for things like excessive chatter or something.
powpatrolwhitewalkers were around before departs tho
Ik that, I’m more saying maybe armada saw the success and thought they could replicate it with the white walker. Just a guess tho either way I’m glad that it’s being released

the new 106ti may be a closer replication if want to look at it that way
SuperiorKalmarSerious contender for the best do it all ski
Nah, the WW116 is kind of a niche ski, it's mad surfy in light pow and can rail turns on freshly done groomers. For everything else there are way better midfats. It lacks fore/aft stability in 3D snow if you're taller than a smurf and in crud or heavier powder the light weight is detrimental. The short radius can make it somewhat hooky too in uneven terrain.
I can see it have a place in a five ski quiver perhaps and then I would want a 126 width 192 length. The shape is interesting for sure, also turns heads.
Keep your eyes peeled for a new ski from Armada. Antimatter 114 187 length, might do a 190 something too, but it seems like a semi directional yet still playful ski, profile similar to a Revolt 114 with a more rounded instead of square nose and tail. Got to see some prototypes out yesterday at the bird, and also flexed it. Seems like it would be a really cool 50/50 ski. Don't know anything about weight yet, but something I'd definitely consider for a touring ski especially.

Sounds like a replacement for the JJ UL. Would make sense considering the the old JJ 116 got replaced this year by the ARV 112

I mean im 6'0 (taller than a smurf) and I find the ski really nice to do it all for an all mountain freestyle ski. Def feel what you say about heavy wet pow but besides that I've enjoyed this way more than other all mountain skis I've been on (prodigy 4, candide 2, revolt 104). I think the narrower profile probs needs a little more beef on it for sure but there's real potential there

scratchskier321antimatter? i thought it was just whitewalker 108?

Yep those are all the new antimatter protos. Definitely not ww108s. The tails are definitely much different then anything in their lineup and the profile fits that freeride design of what the antimatter is

wow. i really like JJ UL, hope it's not too much different.
Prototype Zipfit being tested. Believe this is supposed to be more touring friendly/weight conscious using more thermo moldable foam for long tours so it can dry faster and lighter compared to the GFT. Looks awesome

Touring model is called the espresso. There is also a new corsa coming that’s designed around 96 last boots

So we'd have JJUL, Antimatter, Magic J, WW116, WW121, ARV 112, ARG UL... or will some phase out?

Heard a little more, apparently that ski is going to be more burly, with some metal in it too.

Also rough idea on specs on the ww108?
Yes so far that’s how it’d be. Like most all those skis are in the zero collection so if we’re looking at it from that standpoint it makes sense. Zero collection which they don’t really count towards the regular lineups because they are unique skis and not available to everyone easily, antimatter collection(it’ll replace then declivity lineup) arv lineup and then the signature series. Like truly of all the brands out there they have one of the most diverse and unique sku list very specific and tailored towards what all their athletes and consumers want
