Is 40 degrees in Alta still fun?

I’m an east coast skier and I’m planning on taking a trip to Alta this weekend. It’s gonna be my first time out west and I’m crazy stoked! Unfortunately it looks like it’s gonna be 40s all weekend. Is there still going to be powder stashes? Should I reschedule? Obviously spring skiing is a blast but we’re going to Alta for “the best snow on earth”

Any powder will turn either to mashed potatoes or hot glue in those temps. Spring skiing is still great though
Also, Alta isn't some magical place that always has fresh powder. If it hasn't showed in a few days, you're likely not finding much powder anyway

Yeah that’s true. Honestly i don’t have a problem with mashed potatoes.

Slushy bluebird days are peak. You won't be disappointed unless you catch a cold snap after it's been slushy for a while.
