Dispo’s in Nelson, BC

I’m going to Nelson in a few weeks and had a few questions. I’m from the US and am 18, as far as im concerned the age for rec weed in BC is 19. Do fake ID’s work at dispos in Canada? It’s pretty easy in certain parts of the US but im not sure how it works in Canada. If anyone has any experience lmk
