i have a canon vixia my gf bought me, got a ton of clips and have been using the direct software that comes with the camera. (downloaded the software off a cd lol)
i’ve been using
vixia editor software -> download to computer -> cloud convert (to mp4) -> then email it to myself to download on my phone and edit.
unfortunately i don’t have an sd card reader and i’ve heard that solves the issue of downloading, but my understanding is that m2ts is a funky way to read footage, cloud convert is abismally slow but has helped. does anyone have similar experiences regarding having to download an odd file and convert to a more readable file?
literally any help is greatly appreciated because i have next to no knowledge on camera softwares or processing
