Trip to Revelstoke/Banff

Hey y'all ,

Any Revelstoke locals on here?

Driving from Portland to Revelstoke with a couple of buddies on Thursday. Our plan was to ski Friday/Saturday at Revelstoke and then head over to Banff Saturday night, ski there Sun/Mon morning.

We have airbnbs for 2 nights each, one in revy and one in banff.

If anyone is local to these areas the boys and I would love to catch some laps with you.

Revelstoke season total: 737cm (290")
Sunshine season total: 290cm (114")

Enjoy the snow at revy since there's not nearly as much at sunshine lol but they have much better parks. Coming at the perfect time too, it's been -20C to -40C for all of Feb so far but warming up on thursday. I'm a calgary local but only going to Louise on Sunday. Have fun boys

revy is nice right now, had snow over the weekend and more predicted thursday into the weekend. sunshine is sick and sweet park still some sharks about though

With the way this storm is shaping up, you might just get stuck in revy. Check drive bc/ hwy 1 for closures before you try to leave for banff.

Going to be the best conditions they've had since dec though so get hyped.

Yeah we are seeing that too... trying to figure it out cuz like all the housing is booked out...

In Calgary rn, saw Winsport from hwy 1 but not sure I wanna pay the ticket price haha , it ain't too bad but

yeah man i agree. I remember when day pass tickets were only $40, Now theyre double. Such a scam. still a sick hill tho.

Dont even bother trying further south, its just as bad. 2 days of 6C and sunny to -1C and cloudy. Maybe thursday wont suck so bad
