Videos on NS are tiny

When watching videos on NS at least on phone(android) they load like 1/3 maybe 1/4 of screen size. Makes it hard to see whats going on.

Only seen it maybe the last 6 months. Not sure whats up. This is on the app, android phone.

I use the Android app and am not sure I understand the issue. I can play videos pretty normally and go full screen

Okay. Idk just all videos show up like this last couple months. I don't think the links are weird just a format thing

Yeah looks like the video player is not going full screen for vertical videos. This is basically something that will be fixed with the new site / retiring the current ns player.

It sounds like there's a display issue with the app. Try clearing the app cache or reinstalling it to see if that fixes the problem. If it persists, check for any app updates or report the issue to the app’s support team, as it might be a bug they need to address.

Can you snag an actual link to the video page the next time you see this?



We're getting all the bug reporting and the development system set up right now for the big push forwards. This issue might not matter, but I'm using it as a test to see if my bug reporting form works. :). It'll be for staff/mods only right now because the last time we launched a public bug report form we just got bazillions of stupid posts in it.

Borty's report is that the vertical video doesn't go full screen on mobile when your phone is vertical. Look at the screenshot in his first reply
