Guess there's a Season 2 thread but none for this year. First pro session just dropped, let's go!

Thoughts:
Liked the juxtaposition of the professionalism of Joona warming up and the lack thereof in Joss both competing and sledding
Some favorites were Joona's cork 1 bring back on the hip, Dani and Nico's transfers, and Olivia's hand drag 5
I love freeskiing and I love Jib League

Seconded, anything that includes some Avril Lavigne goes - and felt appropriate with the retro vibes for folks' clothing and hair. Also, just re-watched and Joss' sw 3 screamin is so smooth for a jump that small.

Probably because they're doing separate videos for each session. I'd expect P2 and P3 to drop today and tomorrow based on last year's release schedule.

It's a bummer, his style is definitely a little wack but hopefully he can grow into it a bit.

i get incorporating it but it seems to be the homies entire identity at this point lol. not every trick needs to be a caribou or whatever we’re calling it. makes him a 1 trick pony. with the level of control needed for those, i’m sure hes got a deeper bag of tricks than what were seeing.

also, i though siver killed it. hes a fuckin rail god

idk i don’t think it makes him a one trick pony cuz he’s got a million different variations. it be like hating on andy parry for doing hippy killers to me idk. i fw pierre lol his trick bag is so unique and he does the tricks proper

One trick pony is doing him an enormous disservice IMO. He's doing screaming seamans and caribous both ways with all sorts of combos and even though I haven't seen him do them at Jib League is incredible at butters; though Siver's style is worlds better that would be akin to calling him a one trick pony because the "only" thing he does is spin fast on rails.

I’m tryna pull up to copper and watch Jibleague Ina few weeks, anyone know of good places you can get away with car camping near copper? Online says there’s not many places in summit during the winter. I’ve heard Mayflower Gulch is a good spot but feels sketch banking on that one spot to work out for almost 2 weeks.

Theres a spot like 15 min up I-70 called shrine pass road. I camped there for a month during the offseason one time. Its dispersed camping so its completely free. Cell service cuts off if you go too far back but you have to go pretty deep for that. The road might be a little bit tougher in the winter but by the time jib league happens its supposed to be in like the mid 50s over here so it will probably be sweet. Just put it in 4wd

mayflower is a big lot for day use into some of the mellowest, lamest, gayest backcountry terrain there ever was lol so there should be plenty of space. there’s also tiger rd in breck if you keeping going way back on the road. worst case you pay the overnight fee (used to be $5) and park at the airport lot in breck with all the wooks. theres also the kayak overnight lot in frisco thats free but i think you gotta be more stealthy there. oh and I think ive heard of people just parking at the holiday inn lot but that’s probably monitored so i would do that as a last resort.
