The Problem
Every 12 year old is decked out in giant swaggy pants from harault or an instagram brand, fitted jacket, white oakleys over a black helmet and the current years ARVs with pivot 2.0s.
I remember when I was 12 or 13 years old and starting to get into park skiing I had zero swag and would continue to for years (I might still not have any) But I always thought you had to earn swag. Back in my day if you had true swag you had to be a true shredder.
Instagram reels has made swag far too accessible. These children are able to doomscroll away their summer days until they stumble upon Clover pants and durham jones then go and force their unloving wallets of parents to purchase them this awesome trendy gear. Come ski season they show up to the hill just to stand in the way and hit they vape (I need it mom you don't understand how hard 8th grade it) and generally give a bad name to the park skiing community.
The Solution
I am now embarrassed to wear baggy pants or anything closely resembling a giro ledge, so what can you do as core skier to combat this wackness? I present to you the return to max hill in 2011

Fuck swag I want to be free from my mortal confines
