Anyone in northern CO check this out yet? They seem to have a respectable amount of vert considering the location and have done a ton of snowmaking. Looks like a magic carpet taking you to the top. Night skiing all week till 9pm and day and night skiing on the weekends. Not much but really neat to have accessible skiing on the frange.
Would be sick but I've been told the management makes the park crew take down pretty much anything cool they build in favor of ride on flat bars and boxes.

Ride on isn't always bad necessarily. Can be ride on without being aggressive. Idk the situation and def have dealt with weird mgmt over the years. Shit can be tough.
Hope they get their shit together and expand parks for the peeps
theabortionatorTrue, weirdly kinda the loose area I was thinking
I would've never guessed a ski hill would be east of i25 but here we are lol it's north facing and supposedly has 3ft of base. I'm real curious how long it'll last into the spring
partyandBSdo they have a park?? unsure the market but similar to ruby hill would be dope
Yeah I couldn't see it from the top but supposedly they have a few setups. You can kinda see 'clunk yard' in my pic but it seemed roped off for some reason (edit you can't really see clunk yard but there was a lil drop in hill it looked like)

so one day the owners were brainstorming names for the area while at the top. my ex wife was walking down below and someone said ‘looks like we got a hoe downhill’ and the name stuck
Could be cool if you’re closer to it. I’m closer to Ruby so I’d just opt for that every time. Plus, you have Echo night skiing about 30 minutes up I-70.
It seems they’re targeting the more northern Colorado “learn to ski” crowd. Snobahn centennial and Thornton have really leaned into that and covered northern and southern Denver. They seem to do really well. I stop by centennial multiple times a week to skate. It’s always busy.
Hoedown Hill feels like a version of that meets Ruby hill rail yard.

I'm about 35 mins away and I'm stoked to introduce skiing to people there as opposed to the i70 or eldora shitshow
I work park crew here and although we are a small little hill, it's a fun time. Management doesn't promote the parks on Instagram or anywhere else, so we don't have a core group of park riders yet which sucks, but if you're in the area you should check it out. I'll add a pic of one of our recent builds. These pics are from before the cat groomed the hill.
