Maining ultrawides in park

I took Hellbents on some chill tubes and boxes for the first time and was blown away by how stable their width made them when grinding. Hence why Coach Mole for example skis them in park a lot. Has anyone ever mained a lighter fat ski in park because of rail stability?

never consistently, but i ripped my whitewalkers at sunshine village park for 4 days and it felt pre ez

Did for a bit and was good fun. But going back to regular skis was an adjustment. Looped out hard first rail slide back on the thin sticks.

It feels good but it makes just about everything harder. I ride some 122s in the park on really slushy days for the feeling but it makes doing basic stuff like 2s on and 4s off much harder than it needs to be. No real reason to do it other than the feeling or for how it looks.

at this point my main park skis are old revision blinks which are 108 underfoot, so not super wide but love how stable they are regardless of how noodly they are. they lock onto rails and make Wisconsin skiing a lil for fun

I skied Blackops 118s in the park a lot last year and they were so sick, it was super easy to do huge disasters because of how heavy and wide those skis are. I've also hit some rails on my White Walker 116s with kingpins and they felt no different then my park skis

Used to rock 120 underfoot skis in the park but going to skinnier sticks honestly is way better. Rails don’t really feel that much easier but spinning off or swaps is so much more work that it gets old quick. At least landings feel a bit more stable especially when buttering out

Haha I've got a buddy who used to rip park laps on Hojis with full pins.

On another note, my current park setup is an old pair of Blogs and they're sooo stupidly fun on rails.
