obviously a secluded spot in the trees is fair game, but is a chair? a gondola? outside the ski patrol hut? on the drag lift next to the kiddie slope?

If there's a covered magic carpet its usually the spot. Slow moving, sheltered from wind, nobody can see you, and if the kids do, they have no idea what weed is and won't narc you out.

I think if you’re roasting a big nasty spliff you gotta go for a woods mission. It’s a part of the experience and courteous to other skiers. Smoking on the gondola is wack imo those things smell bad enough as it is

I usually ask the ppl on the chair, but also sus out the vibes - if its like a packed quad then nah but if its just me and a random who doesnt look like a boner Ill just ask them. If they look like boners dont even try.

This. Smoking with people is way more fun and an easy way to make friends for a few laps. I usually hit them with a "yo do you mind if I smoke" and if they seem into it I'll offer them a puff and if not, I'll just wait and dip off into the woods.

Finding a sneaky little spot off a trail is like half the fun for me too lol

in college we packed the peak 2 peak with like 25 people to hotbox. of course some rando absolutely insisted on getting on with us but he quicky realized his mistake and got to smell like weed for the rest of the day

Lol this reminds me of another story where I was in the Killington gondola with a buddy. We were about to smoke then realized there's a loading station halfway up, but luckily it was some park dudes that got on with us.

I hit them with a "yo do you mind if we smoke" but they thought I was asking for their bud and pulled out a joint. We all shared that and then also hit my friends bowl. We were all dying laughing haha, they were like "we just figured you knew we had weed!!"
