Did they REALLY improve quality and "durability"?

It's literally K2's price point brand, they're gonna be lower quality. Go buy something else if durability is a concern.

I exploded pairs of the old Sir Francis Bacon and the Outline. I loved both skis, but it was ridiculous how fragile they were. I think it's fair that a lot of people are still skeptical about Line's durability, but I have had a great experience the newer construction. I have had a pair of chronics that have held up great for a year and recently got optic 104's that don't show any signs of damage despite hitting quite a few buried rocks going decently fast.

Im not a crazy rail skier but I've got a pair of tha new chronics and they're now going on their second season. Overall huge improvement from the last iteration. Got the 94's from warranty on a pair I snapped(not the redesigned model), and am yet to experience any of the same issues I had with the last pair. The chronics are a pretty beefy ski and come at a great price point If you can find em on sale

I have the new Chronic 94s and have had zero issues with durability but I only have about 4 days on them and have yet to hit rails on them. The first 2 days where very early season with low coverage and there's only one lil scratch on the base

I got a pair of last year's TC chronic 94 and the durability has largely been great! My only gripe is the bases came dry af and refuse to accept wax. Tons of little scratches show as a result but i don't really care considering they're my park/rock skis.

I picked up new 23/24 chronics this year on sale, and yeah I do have some concerns about durability. Its nothing that bad, all the dings are superficial but Ive only been out three times this season and the clear coat is peeling up on the tips already which has me unsure about longevity. Would I buy another pair? Probably not actually. Idk maybe its fine and Im just being picky but I remember my old Armadas held up a hell of a lot better after their first few days out.

I have TC 101 from 2023. I haven't skied as much in the past 2 years but the edges are still holding up, but there were edge cracks pretty quick when i got them. Durability is better, which wasn't hard to beat, but the Line's I've had around 2015-2017 were way more durable. Line TC that had the Anthem mold was really durable, and the Line Chronic from 2017 lasted me 2 seasons

I will say I rode both the 23/24 chronic 94's at demo day and the 24/25 chronic 94's and I did feel a difference. I could be tweaking or maybe one was more broken in than the other but the 23/24 felt a lil more damp and had a bit less spring in it.

Line too mainstream to be core but some weirdos pretend it is.

I think the thin tip tech kept my bacon together after I drove the tip straight into the rail support. A little bit of an edge dent and some fraying of the fibre board looking material but nothing serious. Impressed.
Had the old construction chronic a couple of years ago and it delamed at the tip after about 15 days of mild park riding. Also had the sidewall and edge completely seperate from the core on the old outline after an edge compression.
