I can’t be the only one that puts on a certain type of music based off what activity I’m doing. Tell your go tos and I’d love to hear your oddly specific ones.
here is what I find myself doing
working - grunge rock
cooking - frank sinatra type music
heavy snow driving - orchestra
Late summer anthems - southern rock
Spring - classic rock
Can’t fall asleep - Radiohead
sad or upset - acoustic grunge

Classical music is criminally underrated

i am very picky about this with skiing. only listened to some specific rap (lauryn hill, fugees, tribe, etc) and amyel and the sniffers while skiing but now also reggae and a lot of weird boppy 70s and 80s garbage.
if i listen to any of this stuff but especially the rap anywhere else i just instantly feel like i am skiing again and can picture like exact tricks or runs of whatever i did while a certain song was playing. cool how out brains can be like taught stuff like that.
in the garage or working on bikes its gotta be like dad rock or creed type stuff
listen to 90s country pretty much all summer long hahaha
in the bike park i exclusively listen to old moto movie soundtracks that i watched a lot as a kid
