Replying to Is U of U actually fun outside of skiing?

Obviously the skiing that is in proximity of U of Utah is great, but is it a fun school to go to? With the liquor/ouid laws as well the social acceptance of it all in Salt Lake, is the school actually fun? Makes it tough to go there over a place like CU Boulder. I've heard the frats are decent but everything ends at midnight, and the bar scene is almost non-existent. I guess overall what I'm trying to say is that, I know the skiing will be awesome but can anyone attest to the school itself being fun?
